It appears that organising coordinated accommodation may be problematic
this year, as
- Some attendees will be attending the HPC-AI Conference in the Perth
CBD earlier in the week and may prefer to stay at the same place for the
whole week
- HPE employees will have to take note of company policy, which
nominates a couple of CBD hotels
- Others may prefer lower-cost venues closer to Pawsey
So suggested venues for you to investigate include:
The prices above are from Google Maps and are just for a rough
comparison, you may well be able to do better than that.
Last time we were in Perth, several of us stayed at what is now called
Pagoda and found it quite adequate though not very central.
