The originally suggested Crown Plaza Coogee is unavailable as they
are fully booked. Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments are offering us the "University Rate" of $176. Breakfast is an extra $15 for continental or $20 for full, done through a nearby café. That price is only for the 17th and 18th of Feb. If you want to extend your booking to include other nights, the cost will be different for those nights. Coogee is a popular beach-side resort, so weekends will cost more. They are holding 15 rooms for us until 3rd February. Any of those which are not booked by that time will be released back to the general pool, and may or may not still be available to latecomers. To get one of these two-person rooms, contact Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartmentsand quote the "CSIRO code". If there's any problem, say Rebecca set it up. They will need your credit card number to secure the booking but won't use it unless you cancel with less than 72 hours notice. You can see other places with a bit of googling.
