The feedback from last February was that organising a bulk booking
for accommodation was a good idea, but the chosen hotel was a bit
expensive. This time, we have made arrangements with Travelodge Hobart, located in Harrington St near Macquarie St which is about 900m from IMAS, a short walk past St David's Park and the Parliament House Gardens. They will hold 15 Standard Queen Rooms for us until the 27th January, and will provide a discount of 10% on their "best available rate". This rate varies according to their occupancy, but as a rough guide had a booking been made on the 22nd Dec, the after-discount price would have been $170 per night. You will need to make your own bookings online (only) by clicking here, or via their website at https://www.tfehotels.com/brands/travelodge-hotels/travelodge-hobart quoting the promotional code "TH9292989". Some may wish to stay longer in Hobart than just the two nights. The hotel says: Unfortunately at this stage I cannot provide any discount between the 9/02 until the 13/02 due to the Wooden Boats Festival being held within Hobart. Your delegates are more than welcome to stay throughout the 9/02 - 13/02 however they would need to make another reservation and pay our best available rate. |
