and we expect to finish at 16:30 on the last day.

While it is quite a nice walk along the river from the Brisbane CBD
to UQ it might take 40-60 minutes...
The UQ venue is a short distance up the river from the CBD. Bus,
ferry and taxi transport options are available.
Day and hourly paid parking is available at UQ. The meeting will
occur during student study break, so the campus should be less busy
than usual, but parking nearby the venue may be in-demand if other
events are occuring at the time.

South Bank, with rooms available to us from $145 per night.

- The meeting room is fitted out with a projector; you can bring
your own laptop or plug a USB drive into ours.
If you need
something extra, such as a whiteboard or a wired Internet connection,
please let us know well in advance.
- Presenters are encouraged to provide a copy of
their talk where possible, to be placed on our web-site.
- Internet access
- Attendees with Eduroam
accounts should be able to use them to gain wifi Internet access.
- The Visitor-UQconnect
network offers free wireless with limited speed and quota.
This may be upgraded for $10 via UQconnect/ITS.
- Tethering ("personal hotspot") to your mobile phone - the
UQ campus has good coverage by mobile networks.
